Workshop July 26th- August 3rd 2010
60 students from all Europe, 10 busy days, 1 project: build a common radio of European students. These are the winning numbers of the workshop organised by Radio Jeans in Genova form July 26th to August 3rd. Many important journalists came and taught the fundamentals of radiojournalism: so the students could put theirself to the test with the production of radio shows.
Young people were the very protagonists of this workshop: divided in different teams leaded by their teachers, they created little radio newsroom in which each participant chose a specific role, as audiotechnician, editorial staff or anchorman.
What about the outcome? Many different shows completely conceived and made by the students.
But that's not all folks!
Working together for a common aim is a very important and training experience, which motivate people to compare with others. When this happens among young students from different countries, there is the occasion of experimenting with different cultures and building something all toghether, a common, European project.
A crossing over that didn't end on August 3rd: now each newsroom has to produce new radio shows which will be diffused on Radio Jeans network with two levels of organisation. The "national" level, according to the country, and the "thematic" level, according to their interests. So, let's wait for the next works!
In the meanwhile, you can see a wide photogallery of the workshop, the press review and all the shows made by the students.
